Weight: You must be at least 110 lbs
Good Health: You must be in good health and feel well the day you plan to donate.

NUTRITION
Make sure to eat a healthy protein-based meal at least 3 hours before your donation
Avoid fatty foods the day of your donation
Drink lots of water and avoid drinking any alcohol or smoking before your donation
Increase your iron by eating foods high in iron or taking iron supplements will help bring your hematocrit level to the acceptable range for plasma donation
Get plenty of rest before and after your donation
Make sure to rehydrate and drink plenty of water after your donation
