I started my career in the makeup industry at the age of 18 in the San Diego and Las Angeles area of the famously known state of California. My very first makeup artist job was for the number one makeup company in the world, MAC Cosmetics. I had always been obsessed with their artistry, growing up in the fashion and beauty world as a model. When I got into the makeup artistry world I was determined to nail my interview and makeup artistry skills to get my very first, “dream job.” And I got it and worked for MAC Cosmetics for 5 years, where I grew my makeup artistry and sales skills. That’s when I moved on to a bigger role for the largest retail makeup chain store, Ulta Beauty, where I was the Prestige Sales Manager with over 500 different brands of cosmetic lines.
